Identity is the new perimeter. Treat it like one.
Compromised credentials are behind the majority of breaches in Australia. MFA alone is no longer sufficient, attackers bypass it routinely. Secure Agility continuously monitors, manages and responds to identity threats across your entire identity environment.
WHAT IS IDENTITY SECURITY?
Beyond usernames and passwords. Continuous identity defence.
Identity security has evolved well beyond provisioning accounts and enforcing passwords. Here's what it means in a modern threat environment.
Infrastructure & Security
Modern cloud environments succeed only when infrastructure is reliable, and security is built in. Our Infrastructure & Security services provide the foundation organisations need to operate confidently in Azure and AWS - combining operational excellence, governance, and security into a single, integrated capability. We help customers move from ad hoc cloud usage to stable, well-governed, and trusted platforms for critical business workloads.
What is Identity Security?
Identity security is the practice of ensuring that only the right people, in the right context, with the right device, can access the right resources, and that any deviation from that baseline is detected and acted on immediately. It covers the full identity lifecycle: provisioning, access governance, privileged access management, MFA enforcement, and continuous monitoring for signs of compromise or misuse.
What is ITDR, and why does it matter?
Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR) is the discipline of continuously monitoring identity systems for signs of attack, credential stuffing, pass-the-hash, token theft, impossible travel, lateral movement via compromised accounts. Traditional IAM tools manage who has access. ITDR detects when that access is being abused. As identity-based attacks bypass MFA and other controls, ITDR has become a critical detection layer.
Why isn't MFA enough on its own?
MFA significantly raises the bar for attackers, but modern techniques routinely bypass it. Adversary-in-the-middle phishing captures session tokens after MFA is completed. MFA fatigue attacks bombard users with prompts until they approve. Compromised devices complete MFA legitimately. ITDR detects the post-authentication abuse that MFA was never designed to stop, closing the gap that MFA alone leaves open.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Identity security across your full environment.
SA's Managed Identity Security service covers every layer of the identity stack, from access governance through to real-time threat detection and response.
Identity Posture Management
Continuous assessment of your identity environment against security best practices, finding misconfigurations, excessive permissions and hygiene gaps before attackers do.
→ Privileged account discovery and inventory
→ Stale account and orphaned identity detection
→ MFA coverage gap identification
→ Excessive permission and role sprawl analysis
Identity Threat Detection & Response
Real-time monitoring and investigation of identity signals, detecting credential abuse, lateral movement, privilege escalation and account compromise before damage is done.
→ Impossible travel and anomalous login detection
→ Pass-the-hash and token theft detection
→ Lateral movement via compromised accounts
→ Automated response and account isolation
Privileged Access Management
Monitoring and governance of privileged accounts, the most targeted identities in any environment. Ensuring privileged access is used appropriately and any misuse is detected immediately.
→ Service account monitoring and alerting
→ Admin account activity baseline and anomaly detection
→ Just-in-time access policy support
→ Privileged session monitoring
Access Governance & Lifecycle
Ongoing management of the identity lifecycle, ensuring joiners, movers and leavers are handled correctly and access entitlements remain accurate and auditable.
→ Joiner, mover, leaver process oversight
→ Periodic access reviews and recertification
→ Entitlement drift detection and remediation
→ Audit-ready access reporting

PLATFORMS WE OPERATE
Platform-agnostic. Proven across leading stacks.
SA operates across the platforms your organisation already uses, no requirement to replace your identity stack to benefit from managed identity security.
HOW IT WORKS
From identity audit to continuous protection.
Managed Identity Security is delivered as an ongoing service with a structured onboarding that establishes your identity baseline before continuous operations begin.
1. Identity environment audit
Inventory identity systems, map privileged accounts, assess MFA coverage and identify posture gaps across Entra ID, Active Directory and connected applications.
2. Platform integration
Connect identity telemetry sources, configure ITDR tooling, establish detection logic and integrate with SIEM and MDR workflows for cross-domain correlation.
3. Baseline & policy alignment
Establish normal behaviour baselines, align access policies with least-privilege principles and tune detection thresholds to reduce noise and false positives.
4. Continuous monitoring & response
24/7 identity threat monitoring, alert investigation, incident response and ongoing access governance, with monthly posture reports and quarterly reviews.
